Terms of Service

Last updated: November 6, 2026

These terms apply to your use of sonomacountyhousepainters.com (the "Website"), operated under the name Sonoma County House Painters (the "Company"). By using the Website, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Website.

How Service Requests Are Handled

The Company operates the Website as an independent service that receives estimate requests and phone calls from property owners and routes them to independent, licensed local painting contractors serving the requester's area. The Company does not itself perform painting work. Estimates, contracts, pricing, scheduling, workmanship, warranties, licensing and insurance are the sole responsibility of the independent contractor who performs the work. Any agreement for work is made directly between you and that contractor. California contractors must be licensed by the Contractors State License Board, and you can check any contractor's license at cslb.ca.gov.

Use of the Website

You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and to provide accurate information when you submit a request. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Website.

Website Content

Information on the Website, including paint and product information, drying and cure times, cost factors and project timelines, is general information for homeowners and is not a quote, a guarantee, or professional or legal advice. Product instructions and local rules, including HOA color rules, vary, so confirm them before starting a project.

The Website may link to sites we don't control. We aren't responsible for their content or practices.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company's total liability arising from or related to the Website or these terms is limited to $100 USD. The Company is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including damages arising from work performed by an independent contractor.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law rules.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
